Paintings, photographs, and knitted pieces
As a child, my family enjoyed many camping trips as well as extended travel to India, Mexico, Guatemala, and Japan. We visited artists and craftspeople in their homes and workshops. I was exposed to Eastern culture and the connection between art and spirituality. In Mexico and Guatemala as well, I was impressed by the meditative and spiritual quality of the artwork.
Inspired by my father's slides of our travels, I have been taking pictures since an early age. Now I combine digital and scanned photographs with painting and design to create my images.Catagories
